Abstract:The invention relates to a mechanical device for catching insects, characterised by a handle (MA) connected to the frame (GH) by means of three parts (p1), (p2) and (p3) which are used to divide the device into two sections, to allow access for mounting, dismounting and replacing parts, in addition to allowing the device to fold (FG-5), and wherein a very important section of said mechanical device is the carriage (c) which consists of different parts allowing the force transmitted by the spring (m), once released, to move a rod (V) which, in turn, slides three crossbars (T-1 ), (T-2) and (T-3) which, together with an elastic breathable rebound fabric (11), close the trap, which opens manually, the spring (m) being retracted by means of the grip (12).
